Terms of Service

Last updated: May 21, 2026

These terms describe the rules for using MemoArc. They are written to support the same core promise as the product: your private archive stays under your control.

Your account

  • You are responsible for your account credentials and activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your email reachable for important notices.
  • Users under the legal age in their country may need verified parent or guardian consent.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, videos, audio, text, and memories you upload. You grant MemoArc the limited rights needed to store, process, display, share, secure, and back up content according to your settings.

  • Private content is visible only to you and people you explicitly choose.
  • Family and group content follows the permissions of that family or group space.
  • Public content can be viewed, shared, indexed, and moderated as public/community content.

Payments and plans

  • Paid plans renew unless cancelled before renewal.
  • Plan benefits, storage, and add-ons are shown on the pricing page and in checkout.
  • If you downgrade or cancel, uploads may pause when your storage is above the new limit, but memories are not deleted immediately without warning.

Archive preservation and inactivity

MemoArc should not surprise people with simple deletion of a lifetime archive. If an account becomes inactive for a long period, we use staged notices, reasonable recovery windows, and export or guardian pathways where available before any permanent action.

Acceptable use

  • Do not upload illegal, abusive, exploitative, hateful, or rights-infringing content.
  • Do not harass others, bypass security, scrape the service, spam users, or misuse public/community surfaces.
  • We may restrict, remove, or report content when required for safety, law, security, or platform integrity.
